This cutie was abandoned on Chimborazo and was living under a porch. We’ve taken him to the vet where he received treatment for an eye infection, got an updated rabies vaccine, and a flea/worm treatment.
He’s about a year old and has a beautiful silky gray coat. We think, perhaps, he is a breed called a Nebelung, a long-haired Russian Blue.
Not sure that his vision is 100%, so he is very happy being an indoor only cat. He is playful, curious, uses his box like a champ, and is a snuggle monster.
We already have a tribe of ferals that we rescued from our block, plus indoor cats, so we just don’t have the space. If you are interested in meeting kitty, please contact Christy at 513-7342.

So sweet! We have a house full of kitties (all rescues) including 9 year old Zoe who looks so much like this guy. She was a Church Hill kitten we adopted. Sorry we can’t help since we’re at maximum capacity. THANK YOU for saving him and GOOD LUCK!!

Update: Mr. Silky went home with his new mom last night! Thanks Church Hill for being such a great neighborhood and looking out for creatures great and small:)
Beautiful cat.
What a face!
That’s great news. Thank you for taking him in.
