The grotty exercise equipment in Jefferson Park is scheduled to be replaced this week with new modern outdoor equipment.
The Friends of Jefferson Park was the recipient of a $51,591 award from Bon Secours Richmond Health System and a $10,000 grant from an anonymous donor towards the new equipment.
In other Jefferson Park news, there will be a ribbon cutting for the new Jefferson Park Peace Fountain on June 7, at 6:30 PM.

I remember being so excited when I discovered that the part had fitness trail type equipment, and so disappointed when I actually saw it – so this is pretty awesome.
