What does this have to do with the community – someone’s horny interest in this guy? Or am I missing something here?

I am guessing because they both live in the neighborhood. Lighten the mood around here.

Eric, You are in a happy relationship. I was unbelievably lucky to meet and marry a wonderful man when we were both in our fifties.

This has EVERYTHING to do with the community! Possibly a happy new couple? We should be positive about wanting happiness for others.

It is so hard to meet people and if you add in being gay, lesbian, or sexually neutral, it becomes even harder.

Why not have a section in CHPN for such announcements?

Anyway, thank you John for running this and I hope the person is successful. I admire you for sticking your neck out!

almost as valuable as that time you posted a picture of a car accident without blurring out the license plate. keep up the “good work”

also, can you cram a few more ads on this page?

Good work CHPN. I understand that the ads pay for you to run the page.

I am sorry Jean that I don’t agree. CHPN is supposed to be a community service board and not a matchmaking site. To me that is an all-time low and only hope that it wasn’t John who allowed this post?

@Eric @Bob – There is at least one very simple action you can take if you don’t like what is posted here. You know this, right?

More interesting is the fact that of the 20+ likes on Facebook, the vast majority are ladies, and a lot of them married ladies. I see y’all.

Way to go John!

Considering how useful this news portal is, an occasional cute and harmless post is nothing to get upset about. Consider it “Local color”.

This is hilarious. I mean, the clear note of um yearning in the personal, then the stern rejection of all such deeply improper things, and then the 20 liking ladies. It takes a village. Thank you all for the laugh!

@15 totally agreed! Thank you for a great post! And John Murden, thank you for all you do!

I’m convinced Eric is CHPN’s Ron Melancon

Yup, this is pretty entertaining – almost as entertaining as Eric’s dislike of laughing, dancing and those darn teenagers.

@17 Justin…Ouch! That’s a low blow…Melancon portrays himself as a first-class whack job standing in line to be committed- only to find out his admission ticket expired. I’ve never read about Eric’s distain for trailers….

In the words of Lenny Kravitz: “Let Love Rule”
or if you prefer The J, Geils bands Mantra: “Love Stinks”
either way MC Hammer said it best; “It’s all good”.

Eric, you should not apologize for not agreeing with me, however this is NOT a community service board. It IS a blog run by the person that created it, owns it, and decides what goes in it. He makes money from advertising and has to walk a fine line not to offend too many people!

Sometimes I disagree with what is and is not posted. The bottom line is I AM NOT IN CHARGE HERE and neither are you.

You talking about “Hometown Hero” Ron Melancon?

http://www.allenandallen.com/blog/hometown-hero-trailer-safety.html

Nope, don’t know him.

What I do know is what I like and grew up with certain morals and principals, many which have been tossed aside in today’s society. I am not sorry for being “old fashioned” in those ways.

Heck if it is not overly offensive in today’s overly sensitive environment just let people be people. If you have an issue as was stated above you have alternatives, now how do we get these two people together? ?

Reply
crd 05/01/2016 at 9:00 PM

@23 as to getting them together….Umm… why doesn’t she just pull over when she sees him and say something like ‘hey nice dog’?

Mister F 05/03/2016 at 7:33 AM

Let’s not focus on what are society’s problems, but rather what it provides us: hot people walking dogs.
