Still need to try this out. I’m amazed that I haven’t because I love hot dogs.

You’ve probably heard the phrase, “Know the rules well, so you can break them effectively.” All of Stroops’ sausages are homemade and served plucked straight from the fire (or in the case of the Pig Skin dog, the oil). The seasonal dogs are clever and creative. The corn dogs, fried to a deep chestnut-brown, are cooked a couple of degrees past doneness, the slight tang of caramelization balancing out the high sweetness of toasted corn. The bratwurst, in hog casing, is fragrant and tart.
