The names rant a bell, the photos for sure… I taught 2 of these guys back when they were 11.

This is a heartbreakingly stupid act.

I won’t swear to it in court, but I’m fairly certain one of those young gentlemen pulled a gun on me in the alley behind my house three years ago. I always suspected his face would show up in the news sooner or later and I’d recognize him, much like you did. I’m just sad it took another young man getting shot.

We need to incorporate leaders that look like this kids, and better yet, disciple these neighborhood kids into leaders! Not just give them a job to barter with, but really invest in their future. They will still be “at risk” after the program is over and they are deemed “unqualified enough” to serve.

All charges were dropped against Cosby and Jones. Anderson was sentenced today for Malicious Wounding and will serve 3 years 10 months out of a 5 year sentence. I don’t know what happened to his Homicide Charge for a separate incident 5 months later. https://chpn.net/2016/10/26/arrests-made-in-march-killing/
