Just found this dog walking on Nelson st. in Fulton Hill. He is wearing a collar but no contact information. He is super friendly and seems comfortable around people. He was very thirsty, so may have been walking for a while. Golden retriever or golden retriever mix. please let me know if you see or hear anything about his missing!

Does he have a chip? Can you get it scanned at Church Hill vet?
Yes, he should be taken to any local vet who can scan him for a microchip. You can also place “found reports” over the phone with area vets, e.g. Church Hill, Varina and with Richmond City Animal Control and Henrico Animal Control. Ask each locality if they’ve received any missing reports. Good luck finding his owners and keep us posted.
