Mayor Jones and Police Chief Durham will introduce introduce body-worn cameras within the Richmond Police Department tomorrow, Tuesday February 2, at 10:00 AM at RPD Headquarters (200 West Grace Street).
A pilot phase and eventual roll-out to all patrol officers, as well as officer training on both types of Taser brand cameras acquired by the Department, will be discussed. A demonstration of body-worn camera operations will also be conducted.

I understand why they are getting these but this is a blatant infringement on the 4th and possibly the 5th amendment of the Constitution of the United States. These body cameras will be on continually so if the Police are at your door they will have video of everything in your house that is within site of the camera.
