Car stolen from Cedar Street

Via Reddit/rva:

happened between wednesday night at this morning. Went to go grocery shopping today and it was no where to be found. I parked it on Cedar St in Church Hill. Whats even more ridiculous is that my roommate car was stolen not more than 6 months ago. Its a silver 2006 Hyundai Sonata. Plate is JXM-9362. It has a cracked windshield on the drivers side (drawn on photo in link below). A lego phone mount in the dash and a custom stereo system. If you spot anything, please call me at 757-201-1316. Thanks

Did this car happen to be locked? Could it have been a forced entry?

And people wonder why we built a two-car garage shortly after we moved in…

My car was just stolen from cedar street. I was away for Christmas and I came back and the car just wasn’t there. After calling around, I found out it was found in a ditch off Jahnke rd. lots of damage to it. The car was locked so I have no idea how they got in. Anyways, I literally just moved to richmond on the 19th. Great welcome!! The thieves also left their sweatshirt and tee shirt in my car! The police don’t seem to care about finding the people who did this. Frustrating!!
