On the one hand it’s a shame to have lost the original windows and doors (Those two-over-two windows are probably not accurate to when the building was built: there was a time when being able to afford LARGE SHEETS OF GLASS was a sign of wealth, not having divided window panes!)…
…On the other hand the renovation is a vast improvement. (And the new windows may actually look better!)
