Yelping around Church Hill

Having read recently about folks putting reviews on Yelp for local jails and public transit lines, I thought to dig a bit to see what all has been critiqued around here. Honestly, I’d hoped for more – mostly it’s the expected food stuff – but there are a few gems out there…

25th Street Post Office

“Once upon a time ago, there may have been other people working here so there are three stations behind that cloudy bullet-proof glass, but there’s only ever one person working. So prepare to stand in line. ”

“This location is the deepest level of hell that exists.”

“The only reason we ever go is that it’s in walking distance of our apartment. It never fails to disappoint. Hopefully it will close soon and become a Kroger. Or any other grocery store really.”

“Every now and then though there will be a few unwanted guests who visit the park and will try to sell you stuff or bother you. You just gotta say no and keep moving on.”

Church Hill Dog Park

“DEFINITELY a neighborhood park. First time visiting this park and as soon as we got inside the fenced area, the 4 women gathered their dogs and left.”

“From the outside it’s a little sketch and will make you question it but if you are in the area and in a pinch for a case of beer and some peach flavored Phillies (the smokable not edible kind) this is your place.”

“Guy got out of his car at drive through and urinated on the speaker. ”

“THEY HAVE BEEN OUT OF ICE CREAM FOR MUCH OF THE SUMMER DESPITE ADS FOR 59cent cones.”

25th Street PO: “…the deepest level of hell that exists.” Hysterically funny and completely accurate.
