ROBBERY/INDIVIDUAL 2200 block of JEFFERSON AVE 9/29/15 @ 1752HRS-
The victim stated he was standing at the corner of 23rd and Jefferson Street when he felt something press up against his head. When the victim turned around he observed a black male wearing a black hoodie with a revolver in his hand.
The victim gave the offender his wallet and $90. The victim engaged the offender in conversation about God and religion for a few minutes and then the offender gave the victim $30 of his money back.
The offender fled on foot and the victim approached a witness to the crime and used his phone to call 911. Minutes later the suspect was apprehended by patrol officers in the 700 block of North 23rd Street.
The victim calling 911 immediately, along with providing a good physical description of the suspect aided officers in quickly apprehending the armed offender.
A positive identification was made of the suspect. […] The gun used and money taken were recovered from the suspect.
The suspect was charged with robbery, use of a firearm while in the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by convicted felon.

Good job. If each victim could have a body camera, we could get better descriptions of the suspects. Maybe those Google glasses?
