Recent robbery on 28th Street

Subject: Robbery / 200 block of North 28th

On 08/13/2015 at 21:45 hours Police Units responded to the 2700 block of East Broad Street for a robbery of an individual. The first unit arrived at 21:46 hours. The victim stated that she had just exited her vehicle at approximately 21:40 hours. She parked her vehicle in the rear alley of the 2700 block of East Broad Street. She then walked north in the 200 block of North 28th Street. The victim said she noticed two black males wearing dark colored hoodies walking in the same direction behind her but thought nothing of it.

The victim said one of the males grabbed her right arm from behind and said ”Give me your purse”. The victim told the subject to “Get off me.” She then felt something pushed in the back of her neck. That’s when Subject#1 said again “Give me your purse”. At that time the victim said “Okay fine”, and let the purse go. The victim said only Subject #1 touched her and at no time did Subject #2 do anything. The victim said he stood back watching. The victim also stated that neither subjects spoke to each other.

The suspects took the victims red and pastel purse containing an IPhone 6, several credit cards , keys and ID.

Units responded to canvass the area as well as K-9 units for a track of the area.

Suspects are described as:

Suspect 1
BM, 5,8. Approx 150 lbs, 25-30 yoa, facial hair around his mouth and a dark hoodie and dark colored pants or sweats.

Suspect 2:
BM, 6’3, 190 lbs, unk on age range wearing a dark hoodie and dark jeans.
