H2H now open on 25th Street

The Instagram for H2H puts it succinctly: “KICKZ / SHORTS / SHIRTS / CAPS”. If you’re looking for men’s clothes, stop by the little shop on 25th Street instead of heading further afield…

Also – add ANOTHER one to the list of area business owned or co-owned by a woman: H2H is the brainchild of life-long Church Hill resident and Verizon retiree Sheryl Brooks. Stop by Tuesday- Saturday and say hi.

Open since June 1, the shop offers a well-curated selection of men’s clothes: shoes in sizes 7-13, and a selection of shorts, t-shirts, jerseys, and hats. The shirts/shorts are $20, the jerseys are $40, and shoes are various prices. The majority of the offerings are new stock, with a small consignment section. Ms.Brooks says that the offerings will expand in the future, with seasonal pants after summer and perhaps children’s clothes.

The space is also home to 2 great wall pieces by local artist Omotayo, the winged H2H logo and a portrait of Michael Jordan.

It’s great to see this storefront being put back to good use after a good stretch of sitting vacant. While Unicia Buster and April Scott made the spot look good at last year’s Better Block Weekend, it is great progress to see an actual retail shop move in.
