We found a small white and black cat with a shaved tail and hind legs with no collar. We thought it was a stray so we took it to the vet who informed us it probably had an owner. We found it near 27th street and cary street.

Vets shave cats whose fur is badly matted, to prevent sores. This particular cat was shaved last week at Church Hill Animal Hospita because it was so It’s name is
Oops it’s name is Alli and her underside was all matted. If you keep her over the weekend and take her to CHAH on Monday they will get her to her person.

Thank you so much to all of the kind people who responded to this post of my lost pet, Allie. Though an incredibly wonderful person took her in and sought help for her, she had to.be put down because of an intestinal hernia, which never showed up until after she had left the vet. I am so mourning the loss of her, but have such gratitude for the kindness of strangers who tried to help and truly understand how much love we humans receive unconditionally from just a small ball of furry affection.
