We should keep an eye on Craigslist and see if it tries to sell there?

Alright, I think we need a bait-mower program to catch these pricks. This is getting out of hand.

I’m with Bill. There are so many cheap smartphone-based GPS trackers around, would the police be willing to support something as mentioned above in order to find out where the heck all these lawn mowers are going after they are stolen?

Thomas and Bill, you guys need to contact Lt. Dan or Lt. Jeremy. Email is Daniel.Minton@Richmondgov.com or Jeremy.Sayles@Richmondgov.com
and I completely agree, where the heck are these lawnmowers going?

I’m betting the lawnmowers go to the sketchy dudes who ring my doorbell asking to mow my front yard literally two days after I mow it myself…..

Chain a few items together and never let a stranger in your yard anything

Who the hell needs this many mowers? I’m surprised these guys haven’t singlehandedly met the full demand for lawnmowers in the US by now.

I heard they are being parted out & the engines used for NASA-contracted rockets.

1) Lol @ Bill 3.

2) Stuff like this could easily be stripped and sold for scrap metal for quick cash. Places that do that sort of business aren’t required to ask questions–and normally there would be no cause to.

That sounds like such an inefficient return from a working lawn mower. Not that I expect these folks to be business saavy profit maximizers but if these are really being sold off as scrap it’s even more annoying.
