If anyone is planning on attending in support of Buzzy’s SUP, drop me a line at sox45fan@hotmail.com. I’m trying to get a headcount together.

We need a large turnout with a simple theme. How about posters with “YES to Buzzy-baseball-beer”.

@2 – let’s leave the baseball out for now. I agree with you but don’t want to alienate others who support Buzzy’s.

If you support Bob, please make sure you show up tonight at 6 (or even better, a little early).

You do not need to speak if you don’t want to (though all are welcome to do so) but we’d like to have a big group that’s there to “stand up” for Bob to show that this community largely supports the SUP.

Petitions are great but live people at the meeting are even better.

RE the Buzzy’s continuation: My assumption is that Council (Cynthia Newbille) is working on something that could bring agreement from both sides. If this is possible, a few week’s delay would be worth it. I’ve reached out to Ms.Newbille to see what I can find out.

There was a lot in front of Council last night: http://rvanews.com/news/city-council-postpones-buzzys-resolution-defines-breweries-food-establishments/102854

Why are these properties not going up for auction? Why do they seem designated for specific companies?

Check out one of the Ordinances, there was an auction in March. Here’s the one for 1207 North 26th http://eservices.ci.richmond.va.us/applications/clerkstracking/getPDF.asp?NO=2013-181
