Grace Street’s Fairy Village

Jean put up the Fairy Village the weekend of the Holiday House Tour as a tribute to Mary Ann Buffington as a place to stop, smile and think positive thoughts. She says that the initial village has grown as people have added numerous items, and that the children in the neighborhood make and bring little things of their own.

The installation was recently damaged by someone stomping on figures and breaking them, thought the damage was quickly cleaned up.

Our family loves this special spot and we consider it sacred to The Hill. Thank you Jean for starting it and everyone for tending it.

Heartfelt thanks to those who repaired this sweet neighborhood gem. I hope the beasts who harmed it are appropriately rewarded by the universe for their efforts.

My wife and I love visiting the village. There is a new addition to the village each time we visit.

That makes me so mad that someone would go and stomp on it!

I love that little area, it always makes me smile in the morning when I’m walking my dogs. Glad to see it was repaired and thanks to all those who keep it up.
