I recently shared a cheesesteak with a neighbor and I can’t sum up the experience any better than his own words. This food is “off the chain”.

Had a wonderful dinner tonight at OMG. Thanks to the owners and waitress for making it a very pleasant experience.

Tried the place today, after hearing good things. Took much longer than they said when we called in and most of the order was wrong. Girl who answered the phone did not seem to have it together. Disappointing.

@s–which place did you try, Str8 Out of Philly or OMG? Owners of both places read this blog and they definitely pay attention to what customers have to say, so if you had a bad experience I’m sure they’d like to know.

Sorry to hear your order was wrong, but I second what Trish just said– we’ve been to both places, and have only good things to say. At both places, the owners greeted us personally, and made sure everything was perfect for us. We’re all human, so I guess everyone can have an off moment… so I’d say give them another chance.

I suspect #3 was referring to STR8. My son has complained about the same issues. On several occasions, he’s placed an order for pickup and told it would be ready in 15 minutes only to arrive and have to wait another 10-15 minutes for the order to be ready. Although the food is always worth the wait, a few tweaks with the timing thing would be appreciated. If it’s going to take longer, just say that.

The young ladies who answer the phone could use some additional training as well. It feels like the customer has to lead them through the transaction instead of the other way around.

All in all, minor issues…it’s great that the food is always outstanding.
