no idea, but i’ve always wondered what that building is being used for. i see lights on upstairs fairly often so i can only assume it’s occupied. anyone know?
When I was little, it was a Volunteers of America thrift store and one of the men who worked there had a nose and ear piercing that were connected by a chain.
Thankfully no fire, just an oil furnace producing a huge amount of smoke. Thanks to all our neighborhood friends who responded, and special thanks to the intelligent and impressive Richmond Fire Department! Carlton

Elizabeth King and her husband own the building, they live there, and their studio is there as well.

I saw the black smoke from my front porch and called the Fire Department. I guess they took care of whatever appeared to be on fire.
